Cades Cove Cantilever Barn

This was a first attempt at thinking visually/spatially.  We made an excursion to Cade’s Cove, in Smoky Mountain National Park near Townsend, Tennessee.  While there, we took measurements of the cantilever barn at the Tipton place.  Then when we were back at the school, each of us drafted out our own sheets of the barn based on the measurements we took.  As a group, we built a model to scale.
